I’ve been working a lot with monofilament lately, as I have mentioned across some of my other social platforms.
These pieces are made of 4 strands of monofilament together, meaning it’s very fiddly, and delicate to work with. For example today, I think I tried to make 2 pieces about 5 times. One piece got right up to the 119 sts I required before deciding to catch.
But I really like it, despite it’s fragile nature. I think it brings such a nice sheer quality that contrasts lovely with the wool.
